The National Association of Fertilizer Manufacturers (ANFFE) approved at its last General Assembly, held last March, the incorporation of four new members in the areas of liquid and solid fertilizers.
- In the liquid fertilizer sector, Constantino Gutiérrez (Medifer), located in Alicante, and Fuentes Fertilizantes, part of the ICL Iberia group, with its production facilities in Murcia, have joined. Additionally, Yara Iberian, already a member of ANFFE as a solid fertilizer manufacturer, has also joined this new sector with its liquid fertilizer plant located in Almería.
The liquid fertilizer sector has recently been established within the Association, meaning ANFFE now represents the entire fertilizer manufacturing sector, encompassing both solid and liquid fertilizers. With these three new members, the 11 companies comprising this sector operate a total of 21 liquid fertilizer plants in Spain and account for approximately 57 percent of the national market for these products.
- Forgasa, which was already a member of the Association in the "linked" category, has finally been able to join as an associate member in the area of ??solid fertilizers, having met the minimum sales and production capacity requirement demanded of associates.
With the addition of Forgasa, the solid fertilizer sector now comprises 14 companies, with a total of 19 production centers in our country.
